White sesame seeds – ⅓ cup
Peanuts – ¼ cup
Dried Coconut – ¼ cup
Powdered or Grated Sugar – ½ cup
Cardamom powder (cardamom powder) – ¼ tsp
Oil – for lubricating palms

Follow These Steps to Prepare Healthy and Delicious Sesame Laddoos

1 Heat up a wok or pan, add white sesame seeds. The pot should not be too hot, keep the fire low.

Toast 2 sesame seeds over low heat. Stir constantly in between.

3 Remember that moles can explode and change color. On low flame, about 2 to 3 minutes. Don’t turn them brown.

Then take them out and put them on a plate.

Then add the peanuts to the pot. Roast the peanuts over a low heat, stirring constantly, until they are crisp and have black spots on them. Remove the peanuts to a plate and let them cool.

6 In the same pot, add desiccated coconut. Stir the toasted coconut constantly until it turns a light golden or golden brown color. After this, turn off the flame and remove it from the pot.

When the peanuts have cooled, coarsely grind them. You can also crush them in a dry mill.

8 Add coarsely ground peanuts to the toasted coconut and sesame seeds. After that add cardamom powder. Mix well and set aside.

1 In the same pan or kadhai, put jaggery powder or ground jaggery and water.

2 Put the pot on the stove and keep the heat low.

Stir the jaggery constantly to dissolve it in the water.

4 Bring this jaggery and water solution to a boil over low heat.

5 You have to keep cooking until you get a soft ball of jaggery solution.

6 Take some water in a small bowl and check if the jaggery has reached the stage of turning into a soft ball. Add a little jaggery solution to the water. The water will cool the jaggery syrup, and when you take it out, the syrup will stick and form a soft ball.

Take off the heat and add the dry roasted mixture of sesame seeds, desiccated coconut, peanuts and ground cardamom.

Mix the dry roast mixture well in the jaggery solution.

3 When the mixture is hot, start making laddus with it. If it’s too hot, wait a while and make the laddoos. Apply a little oil or water to your palms to shape the lados.

4 Make all the sesame laddus like this. Store in an airtight jar at room temperature.

5 You can include them in your morning or evening breakfast throughout the winter.
