It’s never been easier to recreate your favorite “Euphoria” beauty looks at home.
Doniella “Donni” Davy, the makeup artist behind the bold, glittering looks on the hit HBO show, launched her very own beauty brand, Half Magic, on Tuesday.
Priced from $10 to $26, the vegan and cruelty-free line offers high-impact eye paints that double as liners, iridescent highlighters, liquid lipsticks, lip liners, a setting spray, face gems and several beauty tools.
“I draw much of my inspiration from TikTok and Instagram, including but not at all limited to Gen Z’s interpretation and recreations of ‘Euphoria’-inspired makeup,” Davy tells Page Six Style of her made-for-social media makeup looks.
Indeed, you can’t scroll through any photo- or video-sharing platform without seeing Davy’s influence – tiny pearls on the inner eye, loads of pigmented glitter and neon eyeliner abound.
The Emmy winner spent the last three years developing Half Magic, and even used the products on the “Euphoria” cast during Season 2.
One of her favorite products the new brand is the Mouth Cloud Soft Matte Lip Cream included in the Magic Brownie Liptrik Kit ($26); it’s a rosy brown shade she calls “the perfect introduction to wearing brown lipstick.”
She also loves the Light Trap Highlighter ($20) in the shade Spiritually Complex, which Davy describes as an “awesome shade of shimmery violet-periwinkle that’s super delicate but bold at the same time.”
And to “get a sheer, twinkling but casual everyday eye look,” she reaches for Chromaddiction Shimmer Eye Paint ($24) in the shade ASMR, a champagne color with a hint of blue.
“I love all of the elements from Season 1 — glitter, rhinestones, bold colors, graphic shapes — and I wanted to continue that exploration in Season 2, but with its darker subject matter and distinctly different cinematic aesthetic,” Davy said of how her approach to crafting beauty looks for the series has evolved.
“Season 2 challenged me to incorporate a little more subtlety and minimalism into the makeup, while still creating looks that would be visually communicative of the characters’ emotional states of mind.”
She cites Cassie’s chaotically changing makeup from last season as a favorite, because her looks “portrayed how she was feeling emotionally.”
And with “Euphoria” set to return for Season 3, Davy promises “many more out-of-the-box looks” in the episodes ahead — whenever they might arrive.
Until then, why not grab some face gems to pass the time?
