Round Rock ISD Athletics enlists Ascension SetonSports Performance to provide sports medicine care for middle and high school student-athletes. The collaboration provides the District’s 6,600 middle and high school student-athletes access to an interdisciplinary team of Ascension Texas network providers for sideline sports injury, healthcare, and weekend clinics.
Certified athletic trainers and sports medicine doctors from Ascension Seton Sports Performance, a part of Ascension Seton and Dell Children’s, ensure Round Rock ISD student-athletes receive optimal care in the athletic training setting with preventative education and services.
“Ascension Seton is a Central Texas established and leading healthcare organization,” said Dwayne Weirich, Round Rock ISD director of athletics. “This cooperation supports our District’s commitment to providing all our student-athletes the safest possible circumstances to play and enjoy sports and athletic activities.”
