TAMPA, Fla., Dec. 14, 2022 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ — Chapters Health System today announces its affiliation with Hope Healthcare. Chapters Health is one of the nation's premier not-for-profit, community-based healthcare organizations headquartered in Temple Terrace. Hope Healthcare is a not-for-profit organization recognized as a leader in providing comprehensive, coordinated care in southwest Florida. With a staff of 3,330 and more than 2,430 volunteers, Chapters Health and its affiliates combine to make it the largest, not-for-profit hospice organization in the country.
"This latest affiliation is further evidence of the strength of Chapters Health's unrivaled model representing an elevation in not-for-profit, chronic illness care," said Andrew Molosky, MBA, FACHE, CHPCA, president and chief executive officer for Chapters Health. "The ability to gain economy of scale, intellectual capital and best practice while preserving brand legacy, board governance and executive presence is the future."
This affiliation is yet another opportunity for Chapters Health to preserve, as well as enhance, the not-for-profit end-of-life model of comprehensive, community-based care. With combined resources of all Chapters Health affiliates, healthcare services will be provided to residents in 35 Florida counties and four Georgia counties, allowing more than 72,400 lives to be touched annually.
"By becoming an affiliate member of the Chapters Health family, we can preserve our legacy and further our vital mission to provide comforting care throughout Charlotte, Collier, Glades, Hendry and Lee counties," said Samira K. Beckwith, president and chief executive officer for Hope Healthcare.
"At Chapters Health, we are on a journey to incorporate community health services, social determinants of health and primary care into our value-based designs and now we have a new travel partner with us," said Molosky. "Using our matrixed approach of integrating home health, advanced illness management, telemedicine, social determinants of health and primary care, we are moving chronic illness care further upstream to deliver the low-cost, high-quality experience that for so long has been the provenance of hospice to its patients, families and communities.
"For Chapters Health, the most exciting part about this second affiliation in 2022 is it represents another step in elevating home and community-based, end-of-life care. If your organization wants to learn more about securing its future, we stand ready to assist. Let's talk about what could be," added Molosky.
